On December 29, the representatives of the political party .People for Democracy and Justice. (PDJ) came to the offices of the Federal Registration Service (FRS) to submit the set of documents prepared in accordance with the law to officially register the political party. However, they were told by the officials that the documents could be accepted only if personal information on the party members is added to the set. In response, the PDJ representatives pointed out that this approach contradicted the current legal regulations. After a long and heated discussion the officials reluctantly accepted the documents.
Presidium of the PDJ party would hereby like to draw attention to the numerous attempts at power abuse by FRS officials. We consider these actions as deliberate impediments to the implementation of Russian citizens. lawful right to create a political party, which results in the violation of the direct constitutional norms and the laws of the Russian Federation.
